"Air Canada Gal" is an exploration of the internet sub culture called “Anthro planes”. “Anthro Planes” are usually depicted as airplane models that have anthropomorphized female characteristics, they are almost exclusively portrayed as women. This has links to the practice of giving boats, cars and airplanes female names. Ben David decided to costume as an “Anthro Plane” in order to better understand the phenomenon.
