Maria Mazzillo
Maria Mazzillo holds a master's degree in Art and Contemporary Culture from UERJ (2019), specialist in Photography and Image from IUPERJ (2016); and graduated in industrial design from PUC Rio (2002). She is currently director of the João José Collection project, an organization responsible for the preservation and dissemination of João José Costa's artistic legacy.
He directed the feature documentary film “Matança” (2014); made the exhibition “CAZUMBA — Arte do Maranhão”, (2008); published the book “Careta de Cazumba” (2005). She was curated assistant for Ronaldo Brito, and executive producer of the exhibition Geometría Passageira (2019); has the solo exhibition “EM MOÇÃO - Recent works of Maria Mazzillo” on the air at https://expoemmovimento.wixsite.com/arte.
