María Almanza was born in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico at 1996. She studied Plastic Arts in the University of Guanajuato.
She likes to describe herself as an archivist of improbable portraits and interpreter of random systems through photography of things she find at the streets in her everyday life.
The mediums she mostly work are drawing and painting, also she is an enthusiast novice at digital art. She consider her drawing bittersweet and childish and her painting an abstract-figurative creation. In those mediums she is interested in develope an analysis of how mass media and mainstream culture can shape the identity, specially in the subjects socialized as woman.
