Ana Bia Novais is a postgraduate degree in Photography and Image from IUPERJ. Visual artist, has photography as the basis of his work. It also experiences interventions with digital collage and embroidery. It uses as a reference the trajectory of bodies and objects almost always peripheral, promoting new encounters and narratives that often resignify and displace the history of themselves, of the people he photographs and the territories he observes. She is interested in themes related to gender, politics and ethnicity, which unfold in her performance as an educator, in projects such as the course of Photography and Art with a section of Race and Gender for adolescents and Photography with mobile phone for Women Entrepreneurs, offered in spaces of social transformation.
