Perla Mata Chairez was born in the city of Matamoros, Coahuila, Mexico in 1996. She has studies in Contemporary Art by the Centro de Artes Visuales of the Autonomous University of Coahuila and in New Media by the Adolfo Prieto school of CONARTE. She has exhibited collectively in Mexico at the UAEMex Gallery in Toluca, Estado de Mexico; at the Casa del Cerro Museum in Torreón, Coahuila and recently in a 3D exhibition space by Karne Kunst based in Berlin, Germany. She has participated in audiovisual dialogues with independent spaces such as Red Generación Espontánea from Mexico City and Fluss Lab from Argentina. In 2018 she was selected as the winner in the State Contest of Production in Art and New Media, Coahuila.
