Born in 1998, Winnie Hsu received her BFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Hsu mainly works on video installation, real-time visuals, and animation. Through installing and filming works in space such as abandoned sites, lost places, and woods, she discusses the detached relations produced from the internet and social media. Recently, her art practice includes creating generated visuals mixed with virtual and real space. From 2019 to 2021, her works have been selected and shown in galleries around Chicago, Korea, and Taiwan.
