José Luis García R. (1969, San Félix, Venezuela). Lives and works in Caracas, Venezuela. Self-taught visual artist, designer and graphic editor. He has developed visuals generated by algorithms since 1984, highlighting the study of pixels and fractals to create and intervene images and data digitally, resulting in patterns that he then edits to produce avatars, paintings, animations and sculptural forms. In 2007 he began to exhibit his work on the Internet, through his profiles and pages in different social networks, publishing a different image almost every day. He has participated in group shows and in 2018 held his first exhibition titled "Secuencia Inicial" at the prestigious contemporary art gallery Espacio Monitor, in Caracas.
