Marcia Beatriz Granero is a video artist and her work has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and around the world. Jaque Jolene, a character constructed and interpreted by the artist herself, has been the core of her research for over ten years. She did artistic residencies and solo exhibitions in England, Spain, and Portugal. In São Paulo, she participated in the Season of Projects at Paço das Artes, Exhibition Program of CCSP, "Arte atual" at Tomie Ohtake Institute, among others.
