bya de paula
Bya de Paula is a Brazilian artist/researcher, born in the city of Porto Alegre/RS.
His current artistic research surrounds the field of artemedia and audiovisual. In addition, the artist works with painting, artist's book, digital photography, photography in special scientific instruments and analogue photography, including historical photographic processes.
Bya frequently participates in collective and solo exhibitions and has received awards such as: Dana Award for Visual Arts 2018 and 2019, Impressa Art Award - Goethe Institute, Casa da Artes Gallery Award - Secult Novo Hamburgo and participates in the current month of the International Biennale of Curitiba.
