Cristóbal Parra
Photographer and visual artist, co-founder of Laboratorio Crítico de la Imagen, a platform for visual experimentation and intervention in public spaces. He explores, taking the image as starting point, the political and creative intersections between corporeality, technologies and territories, using the tools of photography, video, projections, generative and procedural art. Performing actions with live video mixing, projection mapping and interactive devices, the artist explores different sensitivities of technologies about the third world. During 2020 pandemic, he develops the Cenital project, where he uses noise patterns to create generative visualizations that emulate the spontaneous movements of nature.
