Elizabeth Cemborain, (Caracas, Venezuela, 1959) studied Architecture at the Central University of Venezuela and then Pure Art, Drawing and Painting at the School of Visual Arts Cristobal Rojas in Caracas. She has participated in many galleries and museums exhibitions, cultural centres and art fairs in Spain, France, England, United States and Venezuela. Her work is represented in private collections inside and outside Venezuela. She is a founder artist of the Video Collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas. Cemborain currently resides in Caracas, as one of the leading exponents of glitch art in Venezuela, thanks to her use of language from electronic images to reflect on movement and contemporary landscape.
