Adriane Kariú Oliveira
Mother, Kariú-Kariri artist, with roots in Ceará and native of Gama - DF. Graduated in Fashion Design at the Instituto de Ensino Superior de Brasília - IESB and is currently taking a degree in Plastic Arts at the University of Brasília. In her artistic research she investigates issues related to metaphysics, maternity, ancestry, identity and decoloniality through observation, record, memory, experimentation, image collecting and the displacement of meaning, diving into themes that cross the sacred and the conscious/unconscious. She works with painting, digital art, drawing, photography, collage, printmaking, animation and sculpture as her languages. She has been a tattoo artist since 2017 and is a member of the Tamain Indigenous Art Collective
