Emidio Battipaglia is an Italian-born visual artist currently based in Lausanne, Switzerland where he attended the renowned Master’s Photography programme at ÉCAL. His work engages with issues of identity, politics and migration deeply investigating the social terrains where space, social hierarchies and memory are constantly being re-constructed and negotiated. Spanning across different media — including VR, AI, sculpture, video and photography — his work has been exhibited and published internationally.
