multimedia artist currently based in Budapest, where in 2012 started her Photography/Media Design MA course at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. She completed her BA studies at Sapientia-Hungarian University of Transylvania, Department of Film, Photography and Media, Romania, Cluj Napoca. During her studies she participated in different film, television and digital media projects, workshops, theory conferences and she also becomes an active member at AltArt, an NGO which promotes digital culture. Since then, her main motivation is to expand and propagate the value of art and culture in contemporary society: beside her studies she focuses on creating interdisciplinary artworks, collaborative shows and academic events in collaboration with different NGO members to reflect upon social amalgam, human behavior and various initiatives of the civil society in the urban spaces. In this context the projects realized in partnership, aim to foster a dialogue among people and to create a relationship between practice and knowledge. Through her interactive practices, she sets her hopes high upon stretching new lines of horizons of different mediums: at the moment Adela is making her long-term intermedia project entitled Trans-Cinema-Express about the continuously changing role of the moving image and classical cinema. Her work includes art interventions and performances in abandoned or old cinemas. In the 2013-2014 academic semester she is completing her master’s degree at the at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milano through the Erasmus student exchange program. She’s an active member of ECP YN since July 2013.
