Coletivo Plástico Preto (Black Plastic Collective) is a multidisciplinary group of performance art, urban interventions and multimedia works, composed of artists with different artistic backgrounds and their joint poetics. It questions wide subjects of the current global reality, specially those related to the contemporary urban landscape and the digital culture, both at aesthetic and ideological level, encouraging the public to participate in an intense performance while co-creating a residual sculpture and other media works that result from such process such as photographs, audio and video. Established in 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, it has taken part in a number of events throughout the city: in the streets, art galleries and alternative spaces.
