Rui Hu was born in 1990 in China and currently based in Los Angeles, USA. Working with 3D graphics, video, and digital image, he hopes to create poetic or unsettling experiences that could channel some fleeting or buried human emotion. His works has been shown at venues including VIVO Media Arts Centre (Vancouver, Canada), Flux Factory (Long Island City, USA), Raindance Film Festival (London, UK), Animafest Zegrab (Zegrab, Croatia), and Melbourne International Animation Festival (Melbourne, Australia). He received his BFA from New York University and is pursuing graduate work in Media Arts at University of California, Los Angeles.
