"Through my work, I seek to examine the relationship between the consumer and the product, to reconcile the various notions of beauty that exist entangled in my memory, and the ways in which consumption of information can alter cognitive perception. I strip subjects of their original narrative by pulling the thread of a digital image until it unravels, leaving only fragments of its original form. In doing so, I test how this process can simultaneously unravel the glossiness and impenetrability of consumer culture and shatter the conception of personal and private in a digital world."
