Mark Pieterson. Born in Accra, Mark attended the University of North Carolina majoring in geographic information sciences. Using abstraction methods in map-making and borrowing from video game aesthetics, Mark tries to incorporate these in his work while staying true to color and space. Most of his images are made using Photoshop and Illustrator, which allows for incorporating drawn elements and collages of images found on the internet usually of objects found in homes and in the grocery store.
