Myrto is based in Thessaloniki, Greece, she has a degree in Applied Informatics and an Msc in Distributed Multimedia Systems. In Autumn 2014, she joined the Glitch Artist Collective group so this way she entered the "glitch-art" movement, which has revealed to her a whole world of artistic possibilities, ways of expressing via different software, or by writing her own code.She works mainly on glitch-art, generative-art, and data-bending projects. Her studies in Informatics increased her interest for the digital art world. She's also into digital photography and many of her works are based on her photos. Her techniques for recent works involve: databending of images using Audacity, use of Processing to produce generative art of images or GIFs.Myrto Amorgianou uses several techniques: databending with audacity, or processing algorithms, taking her own photos then glitc pictures.
