Tizha
I was born and raised in Mexico City as a first-generation Chinese Mexican. Currently majoring in visual arts in the University of British Columbia, with a minor in biology. I consider myself as a multidisciplinary artist with experience in ceramics, painting, print media, photography and contemporary dance. My practice is mostly focused on organic processes and different configurations of the body, heavily influenced by queer and feminist theory. Part of my digital work centers on sexuality and how its visual representation navigates on the internet.
