My name is Israel Teixeira, but I am known socially and artistically as Rael, I am a 23 year old trans man, resident of the city of Recife and born in Lagoa do Itaenga, in the interior of Pernambuco, Brazil. I am a student of Journalism at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP), I have been writing for over 5 years and I draw as a form of artistic expression and also to know myself and make myself known through my art. I see it as an intimate language of full identification.
