Maëlle Poirier
My name is Maëlle, I was born in 1995. I grew up in the countryside of France, I moved to Paris when I was 18 and enter Beaux-arts of Paris. I spend several years experimenting sound, video and programmation. In 2018 I spend a semester in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I attend class about sound art and music. When I came back I enter Claude Closky studio where I develop my work around questions such as : how social media and internet change our way to interact and communicate with people, to define ourself, our identity, to fell emotions as well as influence our subconscient. Social media as a mutate thing trough time. I often refer to the adolescent experience including my own.
