Sergio Arriaga Pérez

  • Mérida, México
Sergio Arriaga (Syap). Born in 1995, he is an artist currently living and working in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. His preferred media are painting, drawing, and video, in which he broaches landscape as a point of analysis and translation of the image. Parting from experience, he looks for an interaction between the individual and the environment, which immerses them into an abstraction of the elements. His main interest is in everyday objects and panoramas, ideally represented as paintings.
