My name is Gabriel Santana, I am a black multimedia artist from the interior of Minas Gerais (Brazil). I have a degree in Animation Cinema and Digital Arts from the School of Fine Arts - UFMG. My imagetic process dialogues with the manipulation of images and the construction of artificial, fantastic and/or impossible visual narratives. In this medium, I play with the question of the author's power over the work and how much the random can guide my creative process. In the last works, my vision turns to the fascination of documental power and the charge of veracity that a photograph carries to the minds of those who apprehend it. With this I have been playing with what is false or true in our contemporary digital world.
