ACHMAD KRISGATHA Indonesia 艾 康 锐 (Bandung, 1979) is an Artist/DJ/Designer based in Jakarta. He graduated from Interior Design, STDI Bandung. Positioned within a lineage of contemporary abstraction driven by his interest in music and videography language and the shifting moods and textures of cinematic tableaus. Krisgatha’s practice is grounded in his exploration of the relationship between the two-and three-dimensional. He has attended residencies in Lijiang Studio, Kunming, Yunnan, PRC (2006-2007) and The AeA, Sattal Estate, Uttarakhand, India (2009). As a grant recipient from National Gallery of Indonesia, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (2016) and Asian Cultural Council, New York (2006).
