Anarca Filmes

  • Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Anarca Films is a collective proposition in cinema and contemporary art that exists since 2014. Its films, videos, parties and artistic residencies manifest themselves as relational devices that exercise the coexistence of difference. They create interlocutions between presences and spaces, expanding their supports and temporalities through dialogue with the languages of performance, installation, video and internet. Influenced by the political tensions in Brazil since 2013, the artists began their activities in the nightlife of Rio de Janeiro and Recife, recording and promoting politically engaged movements, as well as parties and spaces focused on the production of social impact.
