Kathy Carvalho is graduating in chemistry from Unicap/PE, currently dedicated to art-science and wearable art, her multidisciplinary research dialogues with biology, engineering and fashion. Although her trajectory permeates self-education, she has been linked to some institutions that were her learning support: Visual Arts in FAP-PR, Textile Conservation in the House of yayá of USP-SP, Visual lo Anthropology in Flacso-AR, Textile Technician at SENAI, Costume Design at Unifesp and research group in Textile Art at UFPE. Collaborated with physicochemical tests on discarded tires for the elaboration of ecobags and pochettes at Recio Diseño in Mexico,Nayarit and contributed to the writing of interdisciplinary articles in textiles, biotechnology and production engineering.
