Lauren is a Limerick based multimedia artist from Laois, Ireland. She is a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design where she focused on Sculpture and Combined Media and received a BA Degree in Fine Art. Her work primarily centres around sound, through the context of location, taken from primary documentation and field work. Her practise focuses on the connection between societies and environmental impact. Responding to socioeconomic and political issues, traditional customs and religious practises, environmental and ecological adaptations, her work seeks to highlight and capture the importance of sound in understanding different modern societies.
