Alina Sánchez (1983, Tlaxcala, Mexico) Multidisciplinary artist, B.A. graduated from the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving, “La Esmeralda” (2009-2012). Live cinema, video art, photography, gif, sound explorations and in situ installations have been the main resources and supports for her different searches: the questioning of existence, the fragility of being, and contemplation as means of reflection. In her work, she has left a record of her explorations and research of concepts related to the ephemeral, catastrophe, nostalgia and transcendence; she uses poetic and metaphorical language, intuition, and chance as fundamental tools for creation.
