Cristina Ghetti is an Argentinian artist living and working in Valencia. Her research field is Geometric abstraction, op art, and perception phenomena. Her production had been mostly focused in painting and installation, recently she began to incorporate new media in her work believing that it can emphasize concepts as immersive spaces, synaesthesia, interactivity, and participation, analyzing how these characteristics can enrich the conceptual dimensions of the artwork. She has a Master of visual arts and multimedia at the UPV, Polytechnic University Valencia, Spain, where she actually develops her doctoral thesis “Post Medial Geometry”, where she makes research about the development of abstraction under the post media condition.
