Gabriela Capper

Gabriela Capper was born in 1968 in Rio de Janeiro, where she lives and works. She makes video poems that present as an artistic-conceptual proposal, the strength of memory and its opposite: oblivion. The artist has a Master in Arts from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, participated in the installation "Palavras" (Words), in the Visual Poetry Project, at Oi Futuro, collaborated with the exhibition "Mares poderão Subir por Mais mil anos" (Seas may rise for another thousand years), by the artist Leila Danziger, He was part of the exhibition "Kaleidoscope", curated by Maykson Cardoso, held at the XXX Fuorifestival - Pesaro - Italy, showing the videos "Bells machine" and "Close your eyes and see".
