Fernanda Pessoa
Filmmaker and visual artist, Fernanda Pessoa works mainly with documentary and experimental cinema and videoinstallations. She did her master's in Audiovisual at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, under the guidance of Philippe Dubois.
In 2017, she released her first documentary feature film "Stories that our cinema (didn't) tell" screened at over 25 international festivals and currently available on Netflix. His second documentary feature "Arid Zone" received Honorable Mention at Dok Leipzig. His works have been shown in festivals such as IDFA, Doclisboa, Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, Cinélatino Toulouse, Mostra de Tiradentes, Festival de Brasilia, and in institutions such as REDCAT (USA), MIS-SP, Paço das Artes, among others
