Lives and works in Paris. Painter, visual artist, video maker-performer, and photographer. I am interested in “work in progress", as a parallel to Ezra Pound’s note that each artist is always at the beginning, a Troubadour. In my approach to video art, I am combining two different artistic sensibilities. On one hand, I behave as a colorist, filling the void of our perception with pure sensibility. On the other hand, I explore the visual presentation of concepts. The dialectics of those two approaches result in a never-ending process of creation, since, the new technologies, which facilitate "versioning", collaboration and "forking» fit perfectly the concept of Umberto Eco's "open work". Specifically, I believe that art is communication that “happens” more intensively in collaboration, where the “in-between” space is established by two or more artists as a declination of "Friendship Studies", much more rigged with conflicts than any kind of participatory art, even if participation suppose public subdued to the interface established by the artist. My recent work is based on research considering everything that implies authorship, fragmented or composed, accident, hazard, thinking as tinkering, "bricolage" or glitch (as a third author) – the late revealing the unintentional functioning of the brain and the human memory as well as bugged software algorithms and hardware. The language, in all its manifestations, took a preponderant place in my visual research. My exploitation of digital technologies is influenced by the possibility of keeping the track of that specific multi-layer cooperation, multi-level superposition of human and the machine, all of them considered as an open process.
