Maria Raquel Alves da Silva is a researcher and Master in Visual Arts, with a degree in Art and Media. She works with image and text through illustration and writing, writing short stories and comics. In 2020 she was selected by the Itaú cultural award in the "Art as Breath" edict in the literature category. Her comic book series "jenericos" won the award Diversidades Literárias de Alagoas.
