Izadora Alves was born in Baixada Fluminense - RJ, she is a student of Fine Arts at UFRJ, visual artist, art educator and great enthusiast of traditional animation. Currently she is focused on a personal research entitled "Corpo Rápido" where she investigates the bodily experience and its relationship with virtualization and the need for an increasingly fast body. The work is divided in two parts: the work, initially thought to be a series of short animations in loop (GIFs) that could be projected on different surfaces and have some interaction with the public, and the theoretical part. The animations are hand-made, drawn frame by frame on paper, scanned and later finalized in a GIF creation app.
