EU is an experiment in sound art and poetry inspired by the poem Psychology of a loser by Augusto dos Anjos. The experiment is joined to a video that digitally works with the distortion of human form. In an experience that touches the image and the body in an agonically way, decomposing and disfiguring the human form to the maximum. The human experience intended here from images that bring the disfigured face or the missing face as the focus of representation, interests me to discuss the manufacture of monstrosities in the image and how these intend the possibilities of recognizing themselves in the other. The report imposes a paradox that the notion of figure can remain within the spectrum of humanity even if it is constantly decomposed to its characters.
