What is a "I"? The notion of self is central to our western-influenced consumerist and democratic society. But what seems obvious to grasp is harder to define. From Plato to Hume, through folklore tales like the Dream of Akinosuke or more recent simulation theories, people have wondered if the world was really what it seemed, and if they were really what they thought. Videogames are a perfect medium to explore this ambiguity: through playing with the established conventions and expectations, this game quickly turns into an interactive experiment that raises mirror questions on the relationship between the player and their character, and the human and their world.
