Elidayana Alexandrino in 2020 started a series of digital collages and GIFs from self-portraits, by mirroring and multiplying her old photos through simple image editing programs, she noticed shapes linked to sacred geometry, her studies also took her to an ancestral search, those images showed something mysterious and revealing: the geometry of the muxarabis that surrounds the Arab culture appeared as a code, the movement of the GIF recalled the architecture that divides spaces and lets the light in, the image that the artist made of her face camouflages itself in the foliage of the plants, thus it maintains the idea of looking and not being seen, which in the present day is possible due to multiscreens.
