We are social creatures but to stop the spread of COVID 19 we are all forced to do exactly what we're biologically programmed not to do: social distancing. Yet we quickly resumed communicating from a distance and have stayed connected to family and friends over screens, turning happy hour into computer cocktails. Digital communication tools require us to go ahead and rely more on our global communications infrastructure, however, internet streaming services have been downgraded in Lebanon.
