Catexia is a 2D cutout animation produced in different techniques such as drawing, digital painting and digital collage, about a moment of anguish and mourning. Entering the meaning of the title, Catexia is the process by which the libidinal energy available in the psyche is linked to or invested in the mental representation of a person, idea or thing. When the individual goes through the mourning process, the lack of interest in normal occupations and the concern with the recent end is interpreted by psychoanalytic studies as a withdrawal of libido from the usual relationships, which generates an extreme catexy in the lost person.
