Ver descrição

The series "Composition with noise" expresses the intricate relationship between the rule-based nature of art making and algorithmic beauty we see in nature. An instruction was coded and implemented to produce a generative system capable of creating potentially infinite amounts of paintings. This piece is the forth in the series. The instruction was this: 1. Pick two colors aesthetically compatible with each other; 2. Paint a grid of randomly rotated rectangles with an applied noise algorithm. The work is an original single-edition Giclée print on an archive quality paper.
