Ver descrição

Murilo Romeu is a native of Sorocaba and lives in São Paulo, where he graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from FAUUSP and acts as an architect and visual artist. His final graduation work is a series of physical and virtual sculptures entitled “About the Landscape”, in which he discusses relations between the processes of formation of natural and constructed landscapes. “Virtual Domain” is part of this series, held out of the university context and unprecedented. Starting from a satellite image of the place of his temporary residence in Lisbon, which he occupied during an academic exchange, he cuts a 1km² envelope area and explodes it three dimensionally, with the intention of delimiting an original virtual domain over his then neighborhood.
