Ver descrição

Greek legend says that Theseus killed the Minoutaur, but Antonio Canova carved this moment of Theseus sitting on top of the Minoutaur in a moment not of death but of pleasure, which seems to have gone unnoticed for years this erotic fit of the two. It was worked on the piece to distortions of the piece itself as background and its hues, giving this effect of draping. Thus a sculpture of 1782 was used as both the main and secondary element. A reading by the artist in 2021 of an 18th century play.
