Therapy is an interactive installation through which the viewer is expected to talk and vent with a machine. During the recent pandemic, technology became more present than ever while social interactions were greatly reduced. Through this work we seek to take that context to an extreme in which we resort to technology even to interact socially, highlighting how empty it can be. The work is intended for anyone who has ever felt alienated by technology or banal conversations. The system listens to the participant, when he pauses the machine answers with a generic phrase. As the participant continues speaking, it becomes more apparent that the system is not paying attention to him and only answers without thinking.
