Tacoma is an experiment that explores our relationship with time perception. The work proposes to the viewer an examination of consciousness and presence through a mediator: the screen. Bearing in mind that we live in a 24/7 society, where the exercise of contemplation becomes increasingly difficult, the artist sets out to examine whether it is possible to recreate through the experiences of art our state of suspension in time in the face of certain phenomena in nature. With the intention of confusing the lines that define what is synthetic or organic, the work develops through generative practices of image and sound.
