ALGORITMOS is the first single of the experimental pop project JUEGOS ARTIFICIALES, the name under which the multi-media artist Américo Retamal explores the format of the song and the video clip. It is a song in which, making use of the sample and the sound glitch, proposes a reflection on how virtual space modifies our perception of body and daily environment and vice versa. Through the music and characterization of characters, the datamosh, and the collection and resignification of material found online, the music video seeks to emulate the rhythm of Internet browsing, where images, sounds, avatars and text are constantly colliding in a constant multimedia relationship that changes at the speed of our clicks.
