Ver descrição

A series of "dystopian visualizations" created using anonymous social network data and simple network graphing tools. With the names censored, which both draws attention to and also allays privacy concerns, these network visualizations could represent actors and relationships in intricate economic systems, social clubs, or tangled power structures. Ultimately, the works highlight the inability of interfaces and other digital spaces to represent the complexity of everyday life and question whether technology and open data will ever achieve its utopian promise.
