Ver descrição

This video work was created as an example of how historical sources can grow into a metaphor or a symbol. The experiment began with the intention of presenting the sublimated course of events, but it ended with the technical innovation. The message itself, and the energy of the place loses its relevance to the new reality of work. The technique wiping of the context. Therefore, it can not be considered as a simple product of modernity, but has escaped from the hegemony of technique through context. Video was done as a homage to the SKC’s Cultural Centre ( in Belgrade, Serbia) which has been a birthplace of many avant-garde art projects from 1968. to present. In this space many well known artist from all over the world left their mark. Video’s concept is based on the idea that space has a memory, that is, everything that happened in it, left an invisible energy imprint. The video consists of archive photographs of SKC that were interconnected by superimposing in an image processing software. The sound for this video work is also an author's original work mounted from the mozaic files. The connection between photographed events is not chronological, but spontaneous and governed with aesthetic relations. Transparency is also present in all visual elements in this video. The layers of the images are pulsating, disappear and reappear in imaginary temporal current. In the end, all images are woven in a DNA of space.
