Amal presented a project under the title “Am I changing or is the world changing?” This project includes 3 pieces of digital painting artwork. The third piece, “The Self and the Other”, expresses the bright side in the recognition of the epidemic and the isolation. Human beings always find ways of communication and sharing feelings and ideas with one another. Video Calls, art sharing, online courses, free live concerts, and free movies to watch everywhere, all of this is kind of a blessing in this hard time. This project has been chosen from over 500 applications to be showcased as part of “Roznama 8” visual arts competition and exhibition in Cairo, Egypt. It also got featured on “Feminist Republik Pamoja Month”.
