KoKoMo is an interactive website based on storytelling that aims to explore some of the themes thrown up by the Covid-19 pandemic by connecting people’s experiences from various locations during the lockdowns. It gathers and connects the works to show how the participant's conception of space, both at home and further afield, changed in 2020. Through sound, text and visual mediums, the site collates over twenty-five stories from participants aged between four and 74 living in different countries. From this collection, AVA made a conceptual collage map that weaves all of the stories together into a collective narration, navigating the in-between of ‘I’ and ‘we’. KoKoMo is an eventful place built on memory and celebrates togetherness.
